Electrolytes were the beginning
We wanted to know what came next.
The wellness world is finally paying attention to electrolytes. That’s a good thing. Minerals matter. But as hundreds of hydration powders compete over sodium levels, flavors and faster hydration, the formulas themselves often remain surprisingly simple — a handful of basic electrolytes, one form of magnesium if you’re lucky, thirty servings, and increasingly premium prices.
RE•VIVE begins where ordinary electrolyte drinks stop.
The explosion of electrolyte drinks is happening for a reason. People are realizing that hydration isn’t simply about drinking more water. Sodium, potassium, magnesium and other minerals help regulate fluid balance, nerve signaling, muscle contraction and normal cellular function.
But recognizing the importance of electrolytes is only the first step. Look across much of the category and you’ll find variations of the same basic architecture: sodium, potassium, one or two forms of magnesium, flavor, sweetener. Useful? Absolutely. Complete? We didn’t think so.
01Most use one formMany mineral supplements build the entire dose around one form. Simple, cheap, easy to manufacture — but the whole formula is now riding on the characteristics of that one compound.
02Minimal diversityDifferent mineral forms vary in solubility, tolerability, absorption characteristics, and the compounds they’re paired with. RE•VIVE doesn’t bet everything on one.
03The sports-drink modelMost electrolyte powders are designed primarily around replacing sodium lost through heavy sweating. Useful during intense exercise — but RE•VIVE wasn’t built only for the hour you’re working out. It was built for the other 23 hours too.
So we kept building — four forms of magnesium, four forms of potassium, three forms of zinc, three forms of calcium, and a broad spectrum of naturally occurring ionic trace minerals. Then we deliberately reversed the usual electrolyte emphasis and built RE•VIVE potassium-forward, with 700 mg of potassium and 300 mg of sodium per serving. Then we discovered Ioniplex®. Next came a complementary antioxidant system built around CoQ10, astaxanthin, grape-derived polyphenols and whole-food vitamin C. Then glycine, L-glutamine and supporting D3 + K2 completed the architecture.
What began as an electrolyte formula gradually became RE•VIVE, a mineral restoration system.
